Friday, October 30th, 2009Akismet is a handy spam filter plugin thats rated #1 among WordPress plugins for filtering spam. However, I’ve noticed it will block anyone who post w/ @hotmail.com, @yahoo.com as their email, and google.com, yahoo.com and hotmail.com as their website. I find this retarded and somewhat stupid. However, based on you guys’ opinion on this, we can keep this on the condition that everyone stops using the above sites as their email or website for posting.(the email part might be a bit tricky as its linked to your gravatar). However, if responses are negative about the spam filter, I would have no choice but to put back comment moderation and thus making comments show up slower, but no random deleting of good comments.
Nevermind, guys stop posting like spammers and going around swearing o9k times in a comment please.(also don’t repeat the same words over and over again)(yes, includes urusai urusai urusai)
